This adrenal support pack was specially designed by Dr Hagmeyer as the initial support for Adrenal Fatigue/HPA axis dysfunction and CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). These nutrients, Herbs, glandulars and vitamins are specially designed to target the following areas.

• Improve cellular energy and stamina
• Decrease Brain Fog
• Improve sleep
• Improve mood and mental clarity.
• Improve Antioxidant status
• Support Mitochondria
• Support production of key adrenal neurotransmitters
• attenuate high stress levels

Adrenal fatigue is a term applied to a collection of nonspecific symptoms, such as body aches, fatigue, nervousness, sleep disturbances and digestive problems. Chronic, low-grade stress is a modern day epidemic that creates sluggish metabolism, chronic inflammation and abnormal immunity.  Elevated stress hormone levels can create digestive problems and leaky gut syndrome, increased appetite, weight gain, thyroid disorders and accelerated brain degeneration.

Liposomal Vitamin C (30 Servings)

The adrenal gland is among the organs with the highest concentration of vitamin C in the body for this reason optimal Vitamin C levels are necessary vitamin for adrenal function. Ascorbic acid is a cofactor required both in catecholamine biosynthesis (dopamine, adrenaline and nor adrenaline)

Most people who have suffered with prolonged chronic stress have low levels of vitamin C- for all the reasons mentioned above. I chose this liposomal form of vitamin C because I wanted to provide patients with the highest level of vitamin C absorption.

Most Vitamin C supplements are poorly absorbed because the active ingredient (ascorbic acid) is mostly lost in the digestive process before it reaches the bloodstream.

Liposomal Vitamin C provides 1,000 mg of Vitamin C (sodium ascorbate and ascorbic acid) delivered in phosphatidylcholine liposomes for optimal absorption and bioavailability. These liposomes transport the Vitamin C through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream where it can reach the intended target.

Vitamin C is a safe and effective nutrient. It is known to support the immune system by protecting against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other potential health problems. Vitamin C provides antioxidant protection, immune support and supports the production of healthy connective tissue and collagen.

How Cells Make Energy:

Our bodies make energy in the form of ATP. This is the molecule that the body uses as the energy “currency” in every cell kind of like spending dollars to buy food, gas etc. ATP it is made in our cells in the Mitochondria.

Mitochondria are the little brown “organelles” pictured above, often referred to as “intracellular powerhouses” inside of our cells which are thought to be related to ancient bacteria that have since become permanent residents of our cells. Think of them as tiny energy producing organisms residing in each of our cells. Some cells which use a lot of energy (muscles, heart) have thousands of mitochondria whereas other cells may have very only a few hundred.  They are essentially “cells within our cells” that help us make all of our energy! Patients with Chronic fatigue have problems with energy production within the cellular mitochondria.

DHEA (5mg)

DHEA production tends to reach its peak during a person’s mid-twenties, many people find that taking a DHEA supplement prevents their hormonal supply from decreasing. As hormones like
estrogen and testosterone decrease, the addition of DHEA supplement insures that your body has the hormonal balance it had in earlier years.

DHEA has many benefits. DHEA can increase energy, support the adrenal gland, boost the immune system, and even enhance memory and mood.

Lower DHEA levels have been associated with heart disease, depression and mortality (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

DHEA has been dubbed the “mother hormone” because it can convert to other hormones that may be needed in your body such as estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone. Because the body begins to decrease hormone production as you age, many people find that taking a hormone supplement provides them with the hormonal balance they need.

DHEA is particularly exciting to researchers. With its ability to convert to other hormones that are specifically needed by your body. A unique feature of DHEA is its ability to keep the hormone cortisol in check.

Cortisol increases as you age and is linked to stress, which can negatively impact your body and its systems

Pregnenolone (30 mg capsule)

Pregnenolone is a steroid hormone that plays a key role in the production of other steroid hormones, including progesterone, DHEA, and estrogen.

Pregnenolone like DHEA is associated with stress resistance and hormone balance. A deficiency in pregnenolone can result in deficiency in other hormones. Symptoms can include decreased sex drive, depression, fatigue, impaired memory, loss of bone density and decreased muscle mass

Because this natural hormone has virtually no side effects, it is ideal for people who want to combat emotional stress and fatigue with a supplement that is safe, natural, and effective.

If you have been under serious emotional stress, your hormone levels could use a boost so that you can cope with this emotional and physiologic stress better.

When taking NuMedica Pregnenolone, you may experience benefits like improved mood and energy, stronger immune system function, reduced fatigue, and even reduced symptoms of PMS. If you want to feel energized naturally, this supplement is a powerful support that is not associated with any harmful effects.

Studies have also shown that pregnenolone is helpful for enhancing memory and cognitive function. If you feel yourself having a difficult time keeping up with your workload, for example, this supplement may provide you with the boost you need both physically and mentally to more easily manage your daily life.

Liposomal Glutathione (30 Servings)

Glutathione is the most important antioxidant produced in the body and is found in every cell. Antioxidants reduce cellular damage otherwise known as oxidative stress.

Research has shown that glutathione plays an important role in immune system support and the detoxification of body systems.

Maintaining optimal levels of glutathione is essential to your health, according to a 2014 report published in Integrative Medicine.1 The author notes that glutathione plays a key role in antioxidant defense, the breakdown of nutrients, and the regulation of many biological processes (including immune response).

The author also points out that glutathione deficiency contributes to oxidative stress, which in turn influences the development of many diseases (including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, liver disease, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia, cancer, heart attack, stroke, and diabetes).1

Glutathione helps eliminate free radicals, reduces oxidative stress and also helps reactivate other beneficial antioxidants. Unfortunately, standard Glutathione supplements are poorly absorbed because the active ingredient (glutathione) is mostly lost in the digestive process before it reaches the bloodstream.

NuMedica Liposomal Glutathione provides 500 mg of pure glutathione delivered in phosphatidylcholine liposomes for optimal absorption and bioavailability. These liposomes transport the glutathione through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream where it can reach the intended target.

AdrenaMed (60c)

AdrenaMed supports normalizing the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis when under stress. This is my go to supplement to support the bodies ability to adapt effectively to stress, manage blood sugar and support stable energy levels. Stress can affect our bodies in different ways; some people experience insomnia or loss of energy. Others might suffer from rashes, loss of appetite, or even hair loss.

NuMedica AdrenaMed is designed to reduce the symptoms associated with stress and to support immunity as well as provide antioxidant protections.

Chronic stress and adrenal fatigue are linked to real, significant problems like:

• Type 2 Diabetes
• Auto-Immune Disease
• High Blood Pressure
• Blood Sugar Issues
• Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
• Fybromialgia/Chronic Pain
• Insomnia
• Brain Fog
• Weight Gain

This formula provides useful support for both hyper and hypofunction of the adrenals. Hyperfunction is when the adrenals are overproducing hormones, such as cortisol, and hypofunction is the opposite, when the adrenals are under producing.

Liposomal CoQ10 with PQQ (30 Servings)

CoQ10 is a fat-soluble, vitamin-like compound that seems to have many health benefits. It is involved in the production of cellular energy and serves as an antioxidant. These properties make it
helpful in the preservation of cells and the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.

CoQ10 is found in nearly every cell of your body and again is very important to the mitochondria of your body. Your body makes it and your cells use it to produce the energy your body needs to grow and repair.

It serves as an antioxidant that helps protect your body from harmful molecules. It is widely known to be beneficial for heart health, to help prevent cancer, to boost energy and to aid in muscle recovery.

PPQ or pyrroloquinoline quinone aids in the growth of new mitochondria in aging cells.

It activates genes that support mitochondrial reproduction, protection, and repair. Liposomal CoQ10 with PQQ is a high quality, liposomal CoQ10 with PQQ formulation. People who suffer with adrenal fatigue/HPA axis dysreguation and Chronic fatigue struggle with mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress.

Because Co10 is poorly absorbed in chronic fatigue sufferers, I have chosen to a liposomal variation of CoQ10. These liposomes transport the CoQ10 and PPQ through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream where it can reach the intended target.

Liposomal CoQ10 is designed to;

• Improve daily energy levels
• Improve and stabilize blood sugar
• Reduce oxidative stress
• CoQ10 supplements have been shown to improve muscle strength, vitality and physical performance
• Research also shows CoQ10 use for specific conditions and activities shows:
• Heart conditions. CoQ10 has been shown to improve symptoms of congestive heart failure.
• CoQ10 might help reduce blood pressure. Some research also suggests that when combined with other nutrients, CoQ10 might aid recovery in people who’ve had bypass and heart valve surgeries.
• Parkinson’s disease. Research suggests that high doses of CoQ10 might be beneficial for people in the early stages of this progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects movement.
• Statin-induced myopathy. Some research suggests that CoQ10 might help ease muscle weakness sometimes associated with taking statins.
• Migraines. Research suggests that CoQ10 might decrease the frequency of these headaches.
• Physical performance. Because CoQ10 is involved in energy production, this supplement might improve your physical performance.
